The Tranceiver consists of IR receiver and transmitter electronic circuits. It receives information from the IR Tag, transmits it to the PC to which it is connected, and, through the interpretation of a program running on the PC, sends information back to the Tag, confirms the information sent, and, accordingly, activates additional hardware such as barriers and traffic lights to which it is connected. It is unaffected by environmental conditions such as rain, dust, exhaust fumes, fog, day or night. It does not require additional lighting. It communicates uninterrupted with IR Tags at a predetermined distance and angle, as long as no opaque objects are between them.
